    Are you interested in indoor/vertical farming and looking for a varied role in Amsterdam where you are part of something bigger?
    Growy is looking for an Operator with experience operating production machinery, preferably in a food production environment.

    As an Operator at Growy, you will play a key role within our Production Department at our vertical farm. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that our fresh microgreens, herbs, and salads are carefully sown, harvested to perfection, and packed with care every day.

    You will work closely with our technical team to keep production systems running smoothly. This includes monitoring operations, performing checks, reporting issues, and strictly following food hygiene and safety regulations.

    What we offer

    • Gross salary of €2700-3200 per month, including shift allowances;

    • Commute allowance, maximum €250 a month;

    • 8% vacation pay paid annually in May;

    • Surcharges on weekends and holidays;

    • 40 hour workweek;

    At our pioneering vertical farm (inside, not outside, layered on top of each other) in Amsterdam, we grow salads, herbs and micro-greens. We do this with innovations in the field of climate control and automation. In the vertical farming field we are leading the way worldwide. Our products are super sustainable, pesticide free, but above all very tasty and healthy.

    What we are looking for

    • You show initiative and take responsibility

    • You pay attention to detail and ensure processes are followed from start to finish

    • Professional working proficiency in English - Dutch is not required

    • You are available Monday-Sunday; we have rotating shifts that are made on a monthly basis and communicated well in advance.

    • You are willing to perform physical work

    • You are willing to work in cold temperatures
