Our finance team is looking for a Finance & Reporting Specialist to empower them across the board. You are a generalist and enjoy having a wide variety of tasks that come up within the team. You will work closely together with the Head of Finance and the Financial Administrator. Together you get the information you need from the organisation and turn this into reports that allow the board and our investors to make the right decision to make Growy grow.
What you’ll be doing
Financial Reporting & Control: Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual statements (Dutch GAAP) manage month-end close, balance sheet integrity, and external/internal reporting. Includes managing consolidation files for reporting.
Preparing 2025 Audit files and supporting documents: Ensure adherence to Dutch tax laws and regulations and coordinate with external auditors.
Tax filings: manage statutory/tax filings for BTW, ICP and CIT with oversight from tax advisors
Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor actuals vs budgets, forecasts, and monitor KPIs, providing variance analysis and insights.
Oversight of control environment: Maintaining overall key balance sheet controls for Accounts receivable collection maintaining booking of incoming invoice to ensure accurate and correct booking of transactions.
Process Improvement in management reporting: Ensure alignment with budget and reporting files with transactional coding and develop processes to ensure everything is correctly booked.

Job requirements
What you bring to Growy
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar controller role, of which at least 3 at a accounting firm
Bachelor / University degree in Finance/Business Administration
Technical skills: Strong accounting knowledge, ERP system proficiency (e.g., Exact Globe), data analysis
Soft skills: analytical, pragmatic, hands-on, detail-oriented, problem-solver, strong communicator
You pay attention to detail and ensure processes are followed from start to finish
Fluent in English & Dutch - written & spoken
Available 32-40 hours per week
