All-round Facilities Support

Are you interested in indoor/vertical farming and looking for a varied role in Amsterdam where you are part of something bigger? We are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and proactive all-rounder to support the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of our premises. This role is ideal for someone practical, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Take out trash and ensure proper waste disposal

· Clean and tidy indoor and outdoor areas as needed

· Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., cleaning filters, replacing light bulbs)

· Identify and fix minor issues such as small leaks or loose fixtures

· Conduct routine checks to ensure facilities are in good working order

· Assist with general upkeep and organization

· Report larger maintenance issues when necessary

What we offer

· Gross salary of €2598 per month, excluding shift allowances.

·Commute allowance;

· 8% vacation pay paid annually in May;

· Surcharges on weekends and holidays;

· 40 hour workweek

Where will you work

At our pioneering vertical farm (inside, not outside, layered on top of each other) in Amsterdam, we grow salads, herbs and micro-greens. We do this with innovations in the field of climate control and automation. In the vertical farming field we are leading the way worldwide. Our products are super sustainable, pesticide free, but above all very tasty and healthy.

What we are looking for:

· Basic knowledge of general maintenance and cleaning practices

· Ability to use common hand tools safely

· Strong attention to detail

· Good time management and ability to work independently

· Reliable, responsible, and proactive attitude

· Physically able to lift, move, and carry items as required

· Professional working proficiency in English - Dutch is not required

· You are available Monday-Sunday; we have rotating shifts that are made on a monthly basis and communicated well in advance. Shifts are currently in 9 hour blocks between 8.00am and 7.00pm

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

· Previous experience in maintenance, facilities support, or a similar role

· Basic plumbing or handyman experience
